The Visa policy of the United States deals with the requirements which a foreign national wishing to enter the United States must meet to obtain a visa, which is a permit to travel to, enter, and/or remain in the United States. Visitors to the United States must obtain a visa from one of the United States diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or Visa Waiver Program countries. The same rules apply to Puerto Rico and the United States’ Virgin Islands, while different rules apply to the rest of US territories namely, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa. All information provided by you, or on your behalf by a designated third party, must be true and correct. A US VISA may be revoked at any time and for any reason, such as new information influencing eligibility. You may be subject to administrative or criminal penalties if you knowingly and willfully make a materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation in a VISA application submitted by you or on your behalf.

Telephone and Video consultations with a participating independent firm (the “Firm”), are provided during normal business hours, for up to one half (1/2) hour each, and up to one hour of time researching the topic of the consultation, limited to one consultation per client for each new or unique matter. If the independent Firm determines after the initial consultation that additional services would be of further assistance to a client, such Firm, in its sole discretion, may provide it, on a separate consultation.

Telephone and or video consultations may not include discussion of any of the following:

1. Tax-related matters, and
2. Any other matter not related to the application.
The Firm shall provide one (1) telephone/video consultation about the reviewed document, during normal business hours, and advise the client on any areas of concern regarding and/or relating to their immigration application and the legal implications of those provisions and their conformity to the law and requirements. The Firm will provide a written summary of such consultation.

Provided that it’s a new matter, you can schedule another 30-minute consultation. For more complex matters that require more than 30 minutes, you may retain the independent lawyer/firm at a 40% discount from their regular hourly rate to receive further assistance. For the purposes of this site, a new or unique matter is a question that has not been answered by an independent lawyer/firm in a previous discussion.
