As of 2021, NOBLE is operating in in KSA, Pakistan, India, Egypt and other countries across the MENASA region.
Students from underserved communities in rural villages and urban slums who are studying in low-fee or charity schools. The programme also includes out-of-school children.
Noon Academy launched its initiative called “Dastaan Goi” in the ancient storytelling tradition of the region. The program espouses universal values highlighted by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and it aims to impart these values to children through storytelling. These include empathy, dignity, compassion, and perseverance.
Currently the program is running in ten plus South Asian Languags and will soon expand to other regional languags across different countries.
The idea of remote classrooms springs from the broader notion that technology can be shared to acquire greater benefits. Through this distance learning initiative, Noon promotes access to education by setting up remote classrooms through local partnerships in countries where there is dearth of qualified teachers and teacher absenteeism rates are high.
