Welcome to my journal!

Hi everyone, and welcome to my first journal post!

My name is Samer and I am a CPA. I’ve been working in accounting since 2011, but I’ve been an entrepreneur for much longer. I knew it was in me since I was a young man. There are 2 reasons that drive me to remain an entrepreneur: the ability to make my own decisions and the satisfaction that comes from adding value to my customers.

Making my own decisions makes me responsible for what comes out of that decision whether it was a positive move or not. Making my own decisions also allows you to make my own mistakes and learn from them. This adds meaning to life.

To the business owner, losing a customer often seems personal, not just a statistic. Customer service is so important. The way I treat my customers is indicative of the way I look at things in life. Are you short-sighted, merely searching for the next pay day, or does your vision give you a deeper understanding of the long-term implications of your actions? Not only does customer satisfaction increase your likelihood of success, it also adds satisfaction to your work.

As always, I’m here to answer any of your business, accounting or tax related questions. #BeAccountedFor
